Investors
Pre-seed company (Ottawa, founded 2025). Building open-source infrastructure to reduce AI compute waste through local-first routing and measurable impact tracking.
What we believe
AI doesn't need maximum compute for every turn
Most AI interactions are routine: summarizing short text, extracting data, drafting simple replies. These tasks don't need GPT-4 or Claude Opus — yet they still trigger expensive, energy-intensive inference.
Routing is the pragmatic lever. It improves cost and latency today. It enables credible sustainability measurement tomorrow. And it's infrastructure that every AI product will eventually need as usage scales.
The opportunity isn't just technical — it's behavioral. Users want to feel good about their AI usage. A dashboard that shows "you saved 3.2kg CO₂ this month" makes sustainability personal and rewarding, like a health app.
Target Design Partner Profile
What IgnisPrompt is
A routing + policy + instrumentation layer:
- → Intent detection: Fast, configurable classification (summarize, extract, draft, etc.)
- → Routing engine: Local SLM for routine, cloud LLM for complex, policy overrides
- → Context collection: Gather all needed data before cloud calls (reduces round-trips)
- → Instrumentation: Log every decision with route, model, latency, tokens
- → Impact dashboard: Personal sustainability tracker (like a health app for AI)

Investor FAQ
Are you revenue-generating?
Pre-revenue. We're in design partner / pilot phase. Business model: open-source core + enterprise support/integrations/hosted dashboard (optional).
What's open-source vs commercial?
OSS core: routing engine, policies, instrumentation schema. Commercial: enterprise support, advanced integrations, hosted dashboard, multi-tenant management. Following the Supabase / PostHog model.
What's your moat?
Measurement + methodology first. Most routing solutions don't publish transparent assumptions. We lead with credible impact reporting. Moat deepens with: routing policy library, enterprise integrations, community benchmarks, and behavioral "feel-good" dashboard that drives adoption.
Who are your competitors?
Indirect: LLM gateway providers (Portkey, LiteLLM) — but they focus on provider switching, not local-first routing. Direct: none yet with our dashboard-first, sustainability-visible approach. Closest analogy: we're Oura Ring for AI — making invisible impacts visible and rewarding.
