Alaaeddin Al-Jallad is an AI evangelist and visionary entrepreneur with a career spent at the intersection of innovation and impact. With decades of experience founding successful ventures and driving technological transformation within Fortune 500 companies, Alaaeddin brings a rare perspective to the future of AI — one that prioritizes both performance and sustainability.
Throughout his journey, he has made a habit of identifying the inefficiencies others miss — and turning them into opportunities for large-scale change. One such insight led him to coin the term “politeness pollution”: the hidden computational waste generated when AI systems process courtesy phrases like “thanks” or “OK” with the same energy demands as complex problem-solving. The result? Tens of millions of dollars lost annually and more than 50,000 tons of CO₂ emitted — just from being polite to machines.
In 2025, Alaaeddin founded AIGNITRON in Ottawa, Canada, to address this exact problem.
